The e.l.f. shimmer palette is a creme based product that consists of four colors: white, peach, champagne, and pink. It is recommended to be used simply as a highlighter for the eyes, face, or cheeks. Now, the thing that I really noticed here is that all four of the colors are white based, even the peach one. So if you like your highlighters to have a warmer or goldish tone to them, these won't give you the warm and fuzzies. I use the product as a cheek bone highlight both on its own or topped off with a powder, which I prefer, because I do personally like a warmer highlight. My favorite of the four colors as a cheek highlight is the pink, but honestly they are all pretty similar, at least on me. They all have that whitish tint. The palette comes with a dorky little brush, but I just use my fingers, and yes I use a different finger each time I go back into the product to be hygienic. You could use a small stippling brush as well, I just get a little lazy in this area because I use a million brushes on my eyes. Overall, I think it's a pretty good product, especially for the 3 dollar price tag, hello! It will give you a nice luminescent glow, there are no glitter chunks, so you won't walk around looking like a kindergarten art project, awwww remember those days?!?!? So, thanks E.L.F.!
